Two new cable TV shows, "Mad Men" and "Damages," claimed Emmy nominations for best drama series. The nominees mark a turning point in the 60-year-old competition for U.S. television's highest honors. But NBC's show-within-a-show "30 Rock" was the most recognized series overall with 17 nominations.

It's expected to be a very big weekend at the box office as overwhelmingly positive reviews and buzz on Heath Ledger's turn as the Joker are producing some potentially batty forecasts for "The Dark Knight."

The film, which opens this weekend is expected to surpass the 100 million dollar mark in it's first three-days.

It's back to work for one-time Batman co-star Katie Holmes. The 29-year-old actress, who's married to Tom Cruise, will return to television as a guest star on the critically acclaimed series "Eli Stone."

In baby news, Jessica Alba and her beautiful daughter Honor grace this week's cover of OK! magazine. The 27-year-old star, who's married to Cash Warren, details her plans on motherhood and getting back in shape.

Lastly, the Beckhams -- David and Victoria -- were among those gracing the red carpet in Los Angeles for the annual ESPY awards, put forth by the sports network ESPN and honoring excellence in a variety of sports. The soccer star, who moved his family a year ago to the U.S., says he feels very comfortable living in sunny Southern California.
