Alba is Barbarella?

That strange person Perez Hilton seems to have a scoop today on a duo that's very recognizied by the genre. I'm talking about Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan. Perez Hilton is saying that 'an industry insider' is letting on that the two are now broken up! Both professionally and personally... but that's not all.
Rodriguez/McGowen were set to tackle a number of projects, including RED SONJA (right) and WOMAN IN CHAINS. Rumors are flying in on another of their projects though... one BARBARELLA, which has been in the works for a while now.
According to Perez... rumor has it that none other than Jessica Alba (below) is being eyed to put on the leather and star as the sci-fi goddess Barbarella.
Of course you should take that with a grain of salt... you know how the whole 'studio says this person but they deny it' thing goes. Apparently the studio wants a big named female in the lead before they back the film with lots of money. Can't blame them there.

Q & A: Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba is reportedly keen to raise her newborn daughter Honor Marie in a bilingual household - even if it means relearning Spanish herself first.

After giving birth to Honor Marie, she and Warren have been nesting in their Hollywood home.
Well, tickle me' Elmo, but were the guest stars on Sesame Street always this hot? I just remember Mr. Hooper and all those married couples in leisure suits.
There are good movies. There are bad movies. There are movies so bad they're good (though, strangely, not the reverse). And once in a while there is a movie so bad that it takes you to a place beyond good and evil and abandons you there, shivering and alone. Watching The Love Guru (Paramount Pictures) is a spiritual experience of a sort, but not the sort that its creator and star, Mike Myers, intended. This tale of a guru who brings joy to all who meet him is the most joy-draining 88 minutes I've ever spent outside a hospital waiting room. In the course of those long minutes, Myers leads you on a journey deep inside himself, to the source from whence his comedy springs and it's about as much fun as a tour of someone's large intestine.
